What our jewelry is made of
Most Arrows pieces are made with 316L or 304 stainless steel and finished with 18K PVD gold plating. PVD (physical vapor deposition) bonds the gold to the steel in a thin, durable layer, so it lasts far longer than traditional gold plating.
- Waterproof: shower, swim and sweat in it.
- Tarnish resistant: it keeps its golden glow day after day.
- Hypoallergenic: gentle on sensitive skin.
A few pieces are handmade with natural stones, pearls or beads, and some studs are 925 sterling silver. Each product page lists its materials, so you always know what you are getting.
How to care for your pieces
- Rinse with fresh water after the beach or the pool and pat dry with a soft cloth.
- Put on perfume, lotion and sunscreen before your jewelry.
- Store each piece on its own in a pouch or our pink gift bag to avoid scratches.
- Polish gently with a soft cloth and skip harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Handmade beaded bracelets stretch, so roll them on and off instead of pulling.
